Good Creative Media, San Antonio, since 2012

The agency for artists and attorneys.

We are an agency for the two kinds of clients most agencies will not touch carefully. Working artists, who need a business side that respects the art. Working law firms, who need a marketing side that respects the rules. We have been doing this for fourteen years, from one Southtown address, and we mean to keep at it.

What we believe

Five short positions, in case you would like to know what you are buying.

  1. Marketing is mostly listening.

The work begins with what the client and the audience are already saying. The campaign comes second, after the listening. An agency that arrives with a deck before it arrives with a question is not the agency you want.

  2. Specific clients deserve specific work.

A working musician does not need the same plan as a corporate law firm. Templates are for stationery, not strategy. Every piece of work we ship has a real person we were thinking about while we made it.

  3. A new logo will not fix a business problem that is not a branding problem.

We will tell you when redesign is not the answer. Sometimes the right move is a clearer offer, a better-priced product, or one good page instead of fifty thin ones. Honesty is cheaper than working twice.

  4. The numbers should be small enough to understand.

Monthly reporting is two to three numbers that mean something, in plain language, on one page. If a dashboard makes you feel less informed than before you opened it, the dashboard has failed.

  5. Two decades quietly beats one quarter loudly.

The work compounds. We would rather earn the next year of work each month than win it once with a campaign. That posture is why our oldest clients are still our clients.

The work in numbers

Fourteen years of small specifics.

14

Years under the company name. The underlying work goes back roughly another decade.

2

Working sectors: the arts and the law. We say no to a third on purpose.

1

Southtown address since the start. We work where we live and we live where we work.

558

SKUs in one client’s product catalog, on a store the agency built and moved between platforms when the catalog outgrew the first one.

6

Records released through the digital infrastructure the agency runs for one San Antonio band.

Platform built from accumulated practice and now offered to others. The IMC Machine.

If any of this sounds familiar

Here is what usually brings someone to this page.

If one of these is the room you are in, we have probably been in that room before.

  • My website is dated, embarrassing, or not mine anymore.

We rebuild sites for artists and law firms on a platform you can keep, with copy you would actually put your name on. See how we do websites.

  • My social profiles are silent or inconsistent.

We run a steady, planned cadence in your brand so the silence ends. See how we run social.

  • I cannot tell if my marketing is working.

We set up measurement first, watch what works, and report it monthly in plain language. See the digital marketing service.

  • My copy sounds like a contract, not like a person.

We write website copy, articles, and bios that sound like you on your clearest day. See content and copywriting.

  • I have music or art ready and nowhere to put it.

We handle distribution, store, brand, and the promotion around the work. See music marketing.

  • I am worried about Texas attorney advertising rules.

We build law firm sites that satisfy Rules 7.01 through 7.06 and still read like real people. See the website service for law firms.

If any of that sounds like the room you are in, start a conversation or see what working together looks like first.

Two audiences, one agency

Two kinds of clients. One agency that understands both.

For artists

For artists, musicians, and arts organizations.

We help working artists and cultural organizations build a brand, reach an audience, and run the business side of a creative life. We have done this work for painters, musicians, and galleries, and we have done it from the inside, because we are artists too.

For attorneys

For law firms and attorneys.

We help law firms and solo attorneys present themselves clearly and reach the clients who need them, with full attention to the rules that govern attorney advertising in Texas.

We are artists ourselves

Music from the founder.

Good Creative Media is run by a working musician. Coffee Conversations is Julie Good’s record. Listening to it is the fastest way to understand why a band, a gallery, or a working musician ends up in our client list.

The agency’s depth in arts work runs through Julie’s own practice: a record, a working band, twelve years teaching the music business at the college level, and a steady studio rhythm. When we say we are artists working with artists, we mean it.

Listen, watch, or follow along:

  • Spotify

The full artist page, with every record and single in one place.

  • Apple Music

The Coffee Conversations record on Apple, if Apple is where you listen.

  • YouTube

Sessions, performances, and the occasional behind-the-craft note.

  • Instagram

Studio days, shows on the calendar, and the cat.

  • juliegood.com

The full artist site, with the discography, the calendar, and the writing.

Our flagship product

The IMC Machine.

Over the years, we built our own system for running media work, the kind of work that cannot afford to scatter across a dozen tools. That system is now a product.

The IMC Machine is a media operations platform for live events, the arts, and legal evidence. If you would rather run the work yourself, with our system behind you, this is how.

  • The Creative Studio

    Canonical-record-driven communications and media production.

  • The Live Event Production Hub

The live-operations control plane: run of show, crew portal, safety, day-of-show operations.

  • The Evidence Orchestrator

Multi-format evidence review for criminal-defense firms and investigative agencies.

  • The Dismissal Engine

Motion-practice support for criminal defense, with attorney-reviewed output.

Let us talk

Let us talk about your work.

Whether you are an artist with a project in mind or an attorney who needs a clearer presence, the next step is a conversation. We will listen first, and we will be honest about what will help and what will not.
