Try a Sample Lesson
Build a Better Campaign Brief.
Practice a useful skill in three short steps. This original lesson uses a fictional music campaign.
01 · Define the Audience
Start with one group and one need. Example: local music listeners who want to discover a live show this weekend.
Your turn: Name the people you want to reach and what would make this useful to them.
02 · Write the Objective
Describe an observable action within a defined period. Example: get 20 local listeners to reserve a seat for Friday’s showcase by Thursday evening.
Set a target that fits your audience, capacity, and campaign.
03 · Choose the Next Step
Give the audience one clear action: reserve a seat. Use the same wording in the ad and on the landing page so the next step is easy to recognize.
Check Your Understanding

A Good Conversation Is a Useful Beginning
Perhaps the website needs a clearer introduction. Perhaps the campaign needs a story, the course needs a better sequence, or the office needs fewer repeated tasks. Begin with the need that matters most.
