Experience That Connects the Work

Experience in the Studio and Beyond

Julie Good

Strategic Communication and Innovation Designer

Musician. Artist. Writer. Educator. Media professional.

Meet Julie Good

Julie Good founded Good Creative Media in 2012 after building a career in music, media, writing, and education. That experience now supports the practical work of artists, businesses, and organizations: a clear identity, a useful website, a considered campaign, and an organized operation.

Julie Good combines creative production with graduate study in technical communication, mass communication, strategic communication and innovation, and public and arts administration. The connection is practical: understand the subject, respect the audience, and make the information useful.

A Practice Built Over Time

The Experience Is in the Work.

Julie Good knows the difference between having a story and preparing it for an audience. Work in media, music, visual art, and writing has made that distinction a daily practice. The work begins with the people, the facts, and the character of the subject.

Her early work with CD Baby digital distribution and cover song licensing with her son Forrest connects directly to the artist services she offers today. Rodeo Queen Fine Art brought another form of creative work into commerce: a studio setup, photographs and scans of her mother M. Donna Good’s artwork, and textile merchandise sold through Shopify.

For Mitch Webb and the Swindles, that same connecting instinct brought Shopify merchandise into Spotify and YouTube product sales. For law offices, it becomes integrated business systems and automations that reduce repeated administrative work.

Julie Good personally designs the work, codes the systems, and directs the AI. Professional creative software and carefully orchestrated AI tools serve that direction. The IMC Machine extends that practice into applications that organize information, production, and business operations.

Teaching & Graduate Study

Teaching Makes Clarity a Daily Discipline

Julie Good holds an M.A. in Technical Communication from Texas State University. Her graduate study at Texas Tech University brings together mass communication, strategic communication and innovation, and political science with interests in public and arts administration.

Her college teaching spans communication, writing, digital marketing, web technology, music business, and broadcasting. She holds the Alamo Colleges District Master Teacher designation and is Canvas Certified and Quality Matters Certified.

Work with Good Creative Media

A Good Conversation Is a Useful Beginning

Perhaps the website needs a clearer introduction. Perhaps the campaign needs a story, the course needs a better sequence, or the office needs fewer repeated tasks. Begin with the need that matters most.
