The Feed
One Address for Every App
This is the show’s podcast feed. Paste it into any podcast app to follow the show directly, and into each directory’s submission console once to list the show there.
https://goodcreativemedia.com/podcast/feed/The feed is RSS 2.0 with the Apple Podcasts and Podcast Index namespaces. Each episode carries its audio, length, number, season, artwork, summary, show notes and transcript. The website serves it; nothing is hosted elsewhere.
How Distribution Works
The Website Is the Host
The feed is the product.
Each episode is a post on this website with its audio file in the media library. The feed lists every published episode, and the podcast directories read the feed, so a new episode appears in every app at the same time. The large directories take a submission once, through the consoles below; the independent apps that read Podcast Index list the show on their own after that.
Every download goes through the website’s own counter before it reaches the file, so the studio can see which apps carry the show. The count is the site’s plain count and is not IAB certified.
Submission Consoles
Where the Feed Is Submitted
Each directory’s creator console, in the order the studio submits them. Paste the feed address once in each; the owner email on the feed receives the confirmations. Listener links for each app replace these console links once the show is listed.
Apple Podcasts
Sign in with the studio’s Apple ID, add a show by RSS, and paste the feed address.
